Edward Goodfellow

Business

Edward Goodfellow has been involved in finance and accounting for more than 20 years, with 13 years of experience teaching. His primary work and research is portfolio management and the math of how capital markets work. Goodfellow’s teaching and client work is heavily influenced by the research conducted by professors Eugene Fama and Ken French. He has taught at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels for several institutions.

Experience

Goodfellow began his professional career with the international accounting firm of KPMG, working in both Victoria BC and Curacao, NA.  In 1996, he returned to Canada to work with RBC Dominion Securities. He has been a portfolio manager with Phillips Hager North and CIBC Wood Gundy, and an investment advisor with PI Financial Corp. He has taught finance and accounting at Camosun College and for the Certified Management Accountants of BC (CMA). Goodfellow joined Royal Roads in 2007.
