Dustin Manley is a communications and education professional. A strong believer in applied education, he teaches advanced research methods in Royal Roads University’s MAPC program and applied social media management in Centennial College’s Bachelor of PR Management program.
Manley’s research interests include positive psychology, organizational communication and public relations pedagogy. For the latter, he published the largest study in Canada on the development and reception of university-level degree programs and credentials from professional associations.
Originally from Bracebridge, he currently lives with his wife and their 30lb cat in Toronto.
Experience
Manley works with the Toronto Transit Commission having held roles in Employee Development, Social Media Management and Procurement and Category Management. Before joining the TTC, Manley was a partner with a Toronto-based strategy and design firm where he directed Canada-wide marketing and communication campaigns for organizations, including Educational Testing Service, McMaster University’s MCM program, Syracuse University’s Newhouse School and Crowdmark.
Manley also served as the President of CPRS Hamilton from 2018 to 2021.
