Debbi Stanyer is an accomplished environmental professional with over 30 years of experience in resource management and Indigenous relations across the pulp and paper, renewable energy, mining, and oil and gas sectors. As an associate faculty member in the Master’s of Environment and Management program, she brings a deep understanding of the intersection between environmental stewardship and Indigenous engagement. Debbi’s teaching is grounded in real-world experience, offering students practical insights into reconciliation, regulatory frameworks, and sustainable development. Her work emphasizes respectful collaboration with Indigenous communities and innovative approaches to resource management.
