Corey McPherson is an associate faculty member in the School of Business at Royal Roads University, where he teaches in the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Corey is also an instructor at Camosun College, teaching Management and Applied Business Strategy. 

Corey has more than 15 yeas of industry experience. He has worked in several senior corporate roles, devoting the last seven years to his entrepreneurial endevours. Corey has experience working with not-for-profit boards in finance and governance and has a keen interest in demonstrating how business can be used for the betterment of society and the environment. 

Corey co-founded a successful local business serving lower Vancouver Island as well as a not-for-profit enterprise serving LGBTQ2S+ youth in British Columbia.

Experience

Corey co-founded Local Urban Bites Inc., an online meal-kit delivery company which has been in existence for seven years.

He also co-founded a not-for-profit organization in 2019 called QChat Support Association which provides peer support to LGBTQ2S+ youth via text, email, web chat and telephone. While working on his for-profit and not-for-profit ventures, Corey keeps busy as a term instructor in the School of Business at Camosun College.
