
Andrea Butterworth is a digital transformation advisor, educator, and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, and technology. She teaches Design Thinking for New Ventures at Royal Roads University, where she helps students explore innovation, entrepreneurship, and systems thinking. Andrea has built and sold a national consumer brand and now advises organizations on digital adoption, AI strategy, and workflow efficiencies. Her work bridges brand strategy and digital systems, enabling teams to move faster, communicate more effectively, and build sustainable value.

Andrea has founded, scaled, and exited a national consumer packaged goods brand, and has since led more than 100 digital strategy and transformation projects for organizations around the world. She mentors entrepreneurs through the Scotiabank Women Initiative and The Forum, and serves as a pitch competition judge at Royal Roads University.
