Objective of the Agreement

RRU agrees to facilitate the block transfer of 60 credits for students from Nova Scotia Community College with appropriate prerequisite qualifications into the third year of the Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management degree at RRU. By this agreement, applicants from NSCC who meet the requirements outlined below will be eligible for admission to RRU with full block transfer, provided all other entrance criteria are met (per the program admission requirements on the RRU website) and space remains available in the Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management program. 

Successful completion, with a minimum “B” (3.00/4.33 RRU; 73-76% NSCC) GPA, of the:

• Business – Tourism Diploma
• Business – Hospitality Diploma
• Tourism Hospitality Certificate - Applicants must have a minimum 3 years experience in the hotel industry OR applicants must have additional post-secondary credits for a total of 60 credits, 24 of which must be second year level.
