Agrim Banerjee is a tourism professional, educator and researcher specializing in regenerative tourism, multicultural management and, community engagement. He teaches in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Royal Roads University, with a focus on intercultural communication, sustainability, and equity in tourism and hospitality. With over a decade of global professional experience in tourism and hospitality, including leadership in marketing, sales, and business development, Agrim’s work bridges academic inquiry with applied practice, connecting community priorities, sustainability, and knowledge mobilization.
Experience
Agrim is Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University, where he teaches Multicultural Management and Communications, fostering intercultural competence and applied communication skills. Alongside teaching, he serves as a Research Assistant, coordinating community-engaged research, workshops and events such as the South Island Community Research Exchange. He also brings over a decade of professional leadership as Vice President of Trinetra Tours in India, where he advanced international marketing, business development, and sustainable tourism initiatives.
