Here's where Royal Roads made headlines this week: 

  • The Farm at RRU's announcement that it will be expanding its land-based learning with the support of TD Bank Group’s $250,000 donation received coverage from Black Press, CP Calendar, Times Colonist (no link available), Island Social Trends.
  • David Black, associate professor of Communication and Culture, was interviewed by Vancouver Sun about the dynamics of BC political parties heading into fall session in the legislature, and by CFAX about a BC Conservative spokesperson who was fired for hate speech online.
  • A partnership between RRU and Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst at Toronto Metropolitan University to provide cybersecurity education and leadership across Canada was covered in Academica.
  • RRU Langford, John Horgan Campus received coverage from Black Press featuring reflections from Minister Parmar on the opening of the new campus.
