Here's what Royal Roads experts were interviewed about this week: 

  • Royal Roads announced the name of their new Langford campus – a tribute to the late Premier: RRU Langford | John Horgan Campus. The announcement was covered by Times Colonist, Global News, CHEK News, Black Press, CTV and Canadian Press syndicates.   

  • After announcing The Honourable Janet Austin will receive an honorary degree at RRU’s Spring 2025 Convocation ceremonies, Times Colonist and Education News Canada reported.  

  • RRU’s annual Global Showcase event was captured by Black Press. 

  • Thomas Homer-Dixon, executive director of the Cascade Institute at RRU, and David Last, professor of political science at Royal Military College, wrote an opinion piece for the Toronto Star on a voluntary national army service. 

  • Christopher Collins, a polycrisis fellow at the Cascade Institute, wrote an opinion piece for the Globe and Mail on the “dark enlightenment” movement emerging in the US.
