Media responds to Royal Roads’ bold climate action commitment

Royal Roads unveiled its path to a greener future, by putting climate action at the core of the institution’s purpose and business.  On Thursday, Feb. 10, President Philip Steenkamp released Royal Roads’ Climate Action Plan 2022-2027, setting out the university’s commitment to take action on the climate emergency.

The plans goals include reaching carbon neutrality by 2050, and all new buildings on campus having a primary energy source that does not rely on fossil fuels.
