Black on selection of new Liberal candidate for crucial BC riding

Stack of folded newspapers

Royal Roads communications professor Dr. David Black was interviewed by the Times Colonist about the selection of entrepreneur Brennan Day as the new Liberal candidate for the Courtenay-Comox riding, which was won by the NDP last election by just 189 votes.

Here is an excerpt:

“Black…said the riding is a bellwether with both its current and previous populations. ‘We have here a kind of political barometer for where partisan opinion is in the province,’ Black said, adding that most polls are showing the NDP with a 10 to 15 point lead right now in the province.”
