Black on historic Victoria byelection results

School of Communication and Culture political communications expert David Black was interviewed by The Times Colonist and CHEK News about the results of Victoria’s historic byelection.

Black says the results send a clear message about getting back to basics like public safety.

Here is an excerpt:

“We have one of the most progressive councils in the country. So in a sense, this was a referendum on how council is doing and represents a strong signal from over 50 per cent of those who voted last night that they want to see a change in council’s philosophical direction.”
