The Alumni Changemaker Achievement Awards are now open for nominations

A crowd of people cheering at TEDxRRU

Royal Roads University alumni are known for leading change on a global scale and a community level. Now’s your chance to celebrate the changemakers in your life. Nominations are now open for the Alumni Changemaker Achievement Awards – RRU's annual recognition of alumni leading with creativity, care and courage.

Whether you know a trailblazer making waves globally, a quiet hero transforming their local community, or a recent grad already making an impact, this is your opportunity to shine a spotlight on their work. The four categories of ACAAs are: Global Changemaker, Distinguished Changemaker, Emerging Changemaker and Community Changemaker.

The 2025 winners of the Alumni Changemaking Achievement Awards stand on the stage in the Dogwood Auditorium holding their awards, beside Chancellor Nelson Chan and President Philip Steenkamp.

Chancellor Nelson Chan, Emerging Changemaker Cheryl-Lynn Townsin, Community Changemakers Dapo Bankole & April Hicke, Distinguished Changemaker Veronica Fox, Global Changemaker Kevina Power, Distinguished Changemaker Veni Iozzo and President Steenkamp.

All RRU alumni and graduates of the former Royal Roads Naval, Tri-Services and Military Colleges, are also eligible to be nominated. Everyone is welcome to submit a nomination.

Nominations are open until November 16, 2025, and award recipients will be celebrated during Alumni Weekend in May.

Help RRU honour our distinguished alumni and share their impactful stories.
