The diversity of RRU students and faculty created the optimal conditions for learning.

While living and working in Taiwan for 12 years, where I owned and operated English schools, I was lucky enough to meet my wife and start a beautiful Taiwanese-Canadian life together.

Because of this overseas experience and the fact that my young family is multicultural, I was determined to further my education in Intercultural and International Communications. To be able to return to Canada with my family and undergo this new adventure at Royal Roads University has been a dream come true.

The MA in Intercultural and International Communication program and diverse cohort has helped me build on my experiences and obtain an abundant toolset of intercultural competencies that will help me succeed in my career, and more importantly, enable my family to enjoy the rich multicultural element they deserve and can be proud of.

Studying at Royal Roads University has provided a rich and fulfilling opportunity to not only absorb the coursework but also experience what this unique campus has to offer. The beautiful grounds, rich with history, coupled with the diversity among students and faculty, have created optimal conditions to obtain the highest level of education. Given the opportunity to do it again, I would not hesitate. I could not recommend RRU enough.
