The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Victoria - Colwood Bursary has been established to assist students in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. This bursary will support student who are planning to pursue a career in tourism and hospitality management. This bursary will also help advance the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) Academy program at RRU, supporting students in building their hospitality skills and employability.
Eligibility
- demonstrated financial need
- currently enrolled in a School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Program
- plans to pursue a career in the tourism and hospitality industry
- must be willing to be profiled on the IHG Academy and/or Holiday Inn Express & Suites Victoria - Colwood web page
- preference given to students participating in a work placement program
How to apply
- this In-Course Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program on the deadline date
- pending the availability of funding, the competition will run annually from:
- September 1st to November 1st (closes 11:59pm RRU time)
- December 1st to February 1st (closes 11:59pm RRU time)
- applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
- address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition in one one-page essay with your name in top margin
