Harley Eagle is Dakota and Ojibwe, a Whitecap Dakota First Nation member, and currently resides in the Territory of the K’ómoks Peoples on Vancouver Island, BC. He has lived with his family on the island at various times for almost 30 years in total. Indigenous lifeways guide his work as an Indigenous Cultural Safety & Humility (ICS&H) consultant and facilitator. In the summer of 2025, Harley and his family will return to reside in his homelands in Saskatchewan.
His nearly 30 years of experience includes consulting and training nationally and internationally in transforming conflict, anti-racism, dismantling oppression, cultural safety & humility, and trauma healing with many organizations and companies across many sectors. Harley holds an MA in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University (RRU) and is the former Indigenous Scholar in Residence for a Master of Arts in Leadership Health Specialization. He also holds certificates in Trauma Healing and Integrative Somatic Therapy.
