First Year Undergraduate Entrance Award

The First-Year Undergraduate Entrance Award assists students enrolling in the 2026 intake of Year 1 of an undergraduate certificate or diploma program at Royal Roads University.

Eligibility

• Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
• Accepted admissions offer to an undergraduate certificate or diploma program
• This award is not available to members of the Canadian Arms Forces (CAF) who have been admitted under a RRU-CAF program

How to apply

Competition Deadline

The Award is issued to the first 50 qualified candidates on a rolling basis up to the admission application deadline for the 2026 intake. No application is required.

Value and Number of Awards Available 

Each award has is valued at $1000 applied directly to the student’s tuition account. A maximum of 50 awards will be available.

Adjudication

Admissions refers accepted offers for the eligible programs to Financial Aid & Awards where individual eligibility is verified and the award applied. 

 

Decisions on the administration of the award will be made in accordance with Royal Roads University’s strategic direction and Awards Policy, which may be amended from time to time.
