At Royal Roads, we are committed to fostering a campus environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and safe. As part of this effort, we’re inviting all students to join us for the Sexual Violence Prevention Workshop—an opportunity for us to come together, learn, and make our community stronger.

What We’ll Explore Together

In this workshop, we’ll cover key topics that will help us all build a safer and more respectful campus:

  • Consent: Understanding its importance in every interaction and relationship.
  • Healthy Relationships & Boundaries: How to create and respect personal boundaries for better connections.
  • Being an Active Bystander: How to safely intervene when you witness harmful situations and support others.
  • Supporting Survivors of Sexual Violence: Practical ways to provide support if someone reaches out to you.

Common Questions We’ll Explore

We’ll also explore some common questions that can help guide us in supporting each other, such as:

  • How can I offer support to a friend who may need it?
  • What should I do if I witness behavior that concerns me?
  • Where can I find resources and support available at RRU?

Why You Should Attend

This workshop is about more than just learning—it’s about taking action and being part of a community where we look out for each other. Whether you’re a new student or have been at RRU for a while, this is a chance to connect, grow, and help create a culture of care and respect on campus.

Take Action Today – Register now to be part of this important conversation! Together, we can make RRU a safer, more inclusive place for everyone.
