Experience the tradition of Día de Muertos at Royal Roads University as we honor life, memory, and culture through color, food, and stories. All students are invited to join this cultural celebration and learn about the meaning behind this beautiful Mexican tradition.
Join us at noon for traditional Mexican bites—adding flavour and festivity to the celebration.
What to Expect:
- Cultural Display: Explore colorful elements like marigolds, skulls, and papel picado that tell the story of remembrance and renewal.
Story and Symbolism: Learn about the deep meaning of Día de Muertos and how it celebrates the connection between life and memory.
Message Cards: Share your thoughts and memories by writing messages to loved ones on colorful cards.
Traditional Food Experience: Enjoy authentic tastes that bring people together and make the celebration come alive.
