Join us on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, as we walk RRU trails with Earl Claxton Jr., a celebrated Elder, storyteller, and educator from the SȾÁ,UTW̱ (Tsawout) First Nation.

As we walk together, we will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of these lands on which we live, play, and work by learning from Earl as he shares local teachings.

Location: We will gather outside Sneq’wa e’lun by 12:00 p.m. and walk from there.

Notes:
– Bagged lunches will be available.
– Please come dressed for the weather.

Please register to attend this event. Contact Indigenous Student Services Coordinator, Candice Cook, if you have any questions.

While we will make every effort to run this event on campus as planned, on-campus events may be moved online or cancelled on short notice due to COVID-19, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of any changes, we will let registered participants know by email as early as possible.
