MA Tourism Management Fall Speaker Series
We’re delighted to invite you to the MA Tourism Management Fall Speaker Series, a special event where students share their unique journeys and insights into the world of tourism. Among our speakers is Faith, a seasoned Tourism and Hospitality professional from Nigeria with over a decade of experience dedicated to enhancing travel experiences. Known for her commitment to comfort, quality, and creating lasting connections, Faith now looks to transition into tourism consulting and human resources, bringing her industry expertise and passion for people to new heights.
The event will also feature insights from a recent Field School on Northern Vancouver Island, where students explored cultural heritage and sustainability. Through interactions with Indigenous communities, they learned about rich traditions like the Kwakwaka'wakw Potlatch Ceremony and contributed to local environmental efforts, including whale conservation and beach clean-ups. The group also experienced responsible tourism firsthand, with visits to local wineries, museums, and wildlife tours.
