Enables students to gain hands-on experience in field- and laboratory-based studies of the environment, using the Royal Roads University campus as the study site. Both terrestrial and aquatic environmental sampling techniques are introduced, as well as data analysis and interpretation of results. The course provides an opportunity to build on analytical skills developed in previous courses in Ecology, Chemistry and Biology. Prerequisites: MATH 105, CHEM 101, MATH 165, ECOL 201, BIOL 101, ENSC 101.
