The Charlton L. Smith Foundation Bursary was established in 1998 to support mid-career students in the Bachelor of Commerce (Entrepreneurship) program and the Master of Business Administration program. One or more awards will be made available to these programs students whose careers demand further education, but who are constrained due to limited financial resources.

Eligibility

  • demonstrated financial need
  • new student in BCom or MBA program
  • preference given to single parents or mid-career professionals who are returning to university to retrain and pursue another field

How to apply

  • this In-Course Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program on the deadline date
  • pending the availability of funding, the competition will run annually from December 1st to February 1st (closes 11:59pm RRU time)
  • applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
  • address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition in one one-page essay with your name in top margin
