Good things are growing
RRU is reimagining a former 5.26 acre walled Edwardian kitchen garden into the Farm at RRU, which includes a Giving Garden, Market Garden, Indigenous Medicine Garden and a polyculture orchard.
The Farm at RRU supports:
- a gathering place for the community with free workshops and volunteer opportunities
- a living lab for student's courses and research projects
- a response to food security issues in the region
- a food production centre that provides fresh fruit, veggies and herbs to community partners and students on campus
