The A.C.T. (Access. Courage. Transformation) Award was established by Ira Hoffecker-Sattler and Matthias Hoffecker to provide financial support to students with protected person or refugee status (including refugees who have been granted permanent resident status).
Eligibility
- Students with protected person or refugee status enrolled in any program at RRU.
- Have reasonable financial need (the maximum award value must be able to remove the financial barrier to study).
- As page 2 of your application essay, include a letter from an immigration consultant that confirms protected person or refugee status.
How to apply
- this Entrance Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program after the competition deadline date
- pending the availability of funding, the competition will run in each competition until funding is spent, starting with the May competition each year.
- applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
- address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition in one one-page essay with your name in top margin
