As a post-secondary educator, instructional designer, and EdTech strategist, Lisa Gedak is passionate about life-long learning, the intersection of pedagogy and technology, and philosophical approaches supporting learner-centred education.  

Additionally, Gedak is an Appreciative Inquiry (AI) facilitator who values building on the strengths of individuals and groups to impact the future positively.

An alumni of RRU’s Master of Arts in Learning and Technology (MALAT) program, Gedak qualitative case study examined unique K-12 school communities' experiences during the COVID-19 pivot to remote learning.

Experience

Lisa Gedak's background is in post-secondary education, where she has taught various courses and webinars in face-to-face, blended, and fully online formats. As an EdTech strategist, Gedak has partnered with post-secondary educators, administrators, programs, and departments to reimagine the design of courses and pedagogical approaches across disciplines, from certificate to degree programs.
