Bill Gregorash teaches in the Master of Tourism Management program at Royal Roads. He is also an instructor with the School of Business, Hospitality and Media Arts at Confederation College where he coordinates the Business Fundamentals program and teaches in the Tourism – Travel and Eco-Adventure program along with the Culinary Management program. Gregorash’s research interests include gastronomic experiences and food tourism.
Experience
Gregorash is a Red Seal Chef with management experience in hotels, restaurants and franchise food service operations. He has worked in food service in Ontario, Saskatchewan and New Brunswick. He owned and operated a fine dining northern Italian restaurant for fifteen years before beginning to teach at post-secondary institutions in 2000. Gregorash has been involved with curriculum development for new programs and sat on the College Academic Council. He has also worked with industry partners on specialized training needs and facilitating strategic planning initiatives. Currently, he sits on the Research Ethics Board for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. For his dissertation, he studied gastronomic experiences and how we remember them.
