Julia Szucs (pronunciation) is a team coach at Royal Roads University.
She holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph, a Certificate of Conflict Resolution with a mediation specialty (from the Justice Institute of BC) and Level One Internal Family Systems Therapy (from the IFS Institute).
She is ACC certified with the International Coaching Federation.
Julia facilitates group and team processes, communication skills development and reflective practice through a trauma-informed lens. She is drawn to experiential learning opportunities that build self-awareness, contribute to productive and fulfilling relationships, and support effective team performance.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Julia has led multi-week wilderness expeditions for the National Outdoor Leadership School, worked with high school students on traveling field studies and facilitated outdoor leadership training opportunities for a diverse array of populations.
As well as a team coach, Julia is an active instructor with JIBC's Center for Conflict Resolution.
