Dianne Drouin, current student of the MA in Leadership Executive Leadership Specialization program

I found myself in a very open, diverse, and supportive cohort environment.

I was attracted to the MA in Leadership Executive Leadership specialization due to its values-based leadership focus. I was looking to gain knowledge and practical skills to connect people and organizations to work more effectively to find solutions to issues and reach common goals.

Even before being accepted, I was made to feel “at home” by the admissions team and faculty members. Once in the program, I found myself in a very open, diverse, and supportive cohort environment. Royal Roads has continued to meet my expectations for being people-driven and has lived up to its reputation for the quality of its leadership program and long-established blended model of online and in-person learning.

I have solidified my view that values-based leadership is an asset to organizations that are open to human-centered development, fulfillment, and performance to succeed. This program has given me confidence and it has fulfilled my wish to produce academic work I am proud of. I have connected with many people who inspire me and make me want to be and do better as a leader.

For those thinking about studying at Royal Roads, start the process! It's a wonderful opportunity to engage yourself in doing something that expands the mind, the heart, and the skills you bring to everything you do, both personally and professionally.
