Healthcare Management in a Pandemic: Hearing Health Leaders’ Voices

Healthcare Management in a Pandemic: Hearing Health Leaders’ Voices is the third session in our Leading in Extraordinary Times 2021 webinar series.

In mid-March 2020, when the global pandemic hit Canada, health leaders across the country mobilized quickly to respond to what became an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous environment. Following the lead of countries where the pandemic hit first, many neighbours banged their pots and pans to express gratitude to those working on the front lines, but few of us can fully appreciate the lived experiences of Canadian healthcare workers responsible for stepping up to lead during COVID-19.

Hosted by RRU’s Master of Arts in Leadership - Health Specialization, we hear from four students who are leading in healthcare in these most extraordinary times. These health leaders share key lessons learned from leading during the pandemic, as well as their ongoing experiences studying online and applying theory to practice.

These extraordinary times are still calling for our leadership. Let's continue to rise to the challenge.
