Master of Arts in Leadership - Executive Leadership

The Master of Arts in Leadership - Executive Leadership Specialization is a 36-credit program delivered through a blended model that combines online learning and two on-campus learning experiences. This specialization offers three elective choices that can be taken individually or as an approved 9-credit RRU graduate certificate with a capstone that is engaged and action-oriented.

The Executive Leadership specialization focusses on meeting the leadership and learning needs and interests of mid-level to senior leaders specifically related to organizational cultural change for sustained successful innovation in their organizations. Recognizing that lasting change is a result of values and cultural alignment, participants in this program will have an opportunity to strengthen their organizational leadership through enhanced understanding, capabilities and credibility to lead change. This program is instructed by experienced organizational leaders. 

Who It’s For 

The Executive Leadership specialization is an applied program offering advanced leadership knowledge and skill for experienced mid-level to senior leaders in organizations interested in fostering sustainable organizational change through attention to values and culture; strengthening their leadership character and capabilities in working on organizational culture, structure, and innovation in relation to both internal and external realities. This program provides key capabilities and insights to professionals working in the public sector, corporate, academic, and/or not-for-profit environments.

Applicants who do not have the formal academic education to qualify for admission may be assessed on the basis of both their formal education and their informal learning, in accordance with the Flexible Admission Policy.
