Michael Daykin

Tourism & Hospitality Management

Michael works with businesses across BC to help bridge the gap between their business needs and the technology that can help them grow. Primarily providing instruction and guidance in the area of digital marketing, he is a part of the team at Alacrity Canada delivering the Digital Marketing Bootcamp and the Canada Digital Adoption Program.

Michael has also been a Digital Advisor through Hubspace helping business across northern BC and part-time faculty at the College of New Caledonia.

Experience

Michael began developing software in the late 1990s, just as the modern internet was beginning to take shape. Over the years, he has worked in wide range of industries, often being the bridge between the technical developers and the end-user.

With more than 20 years of experience in a development and consultant role, Michael worked in many industries to help guide and build better processes and technical solutions. His ability to communicate to a wide audience has led him into coaching and education.
