Jason Ripley has 10 years of teaching experience with the International Sommelier Guild delivering introductory, intermediate and advanced wine courses for hospitality professionals. Ripley’s teaching style is to weave personal and professional examples into course materials to encourage a deeper understanding of the theory and to encourage an easier translation of that theory into practice.
Ripley combines more than 30 years of hospitality management experience with an entrepreneurial spirit, especially in the wine trade. He has worked fifteen years with The Keg Steakhouse in every capacity, as well as shorter terms with small and large hotels, casual and fine dining restaurants and five years managing a wine distribution company.
