Bio (Gita Badiyan)
Gita Badiyan is a leadership development specialist who works with clients to strengthen capacity and transform organizational culture through creative engagement strategies. Since founding Kiva Corporate Solutions in 2000, Badiyan has helped hundreds of public and private sector clients build momentum as they focus on the human side of leadership. Badiyan has lived and worked in South America, Europe, the Middle East and the South Pacific, collaborating with organizations committed to high performance and value-driven leadership. She has led numerous projects in business, helped boost performance in teams and organizations and taught at universities and colleges in Canada and abroad.
Badiyan’s priorities are to make a meaningful and measurable difference by offering clients practical tools based on solid experience. She serves as a mentor for Master of Business Administration students at the University of Victoria and has served on the board of directors for Leadership Victoria and the Institute for Performance and Learning.
Badiyan holds a Master of Education in Adult Education (1992) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1982) from York University. She holds a variety of certificates in Cultural Transformation (CTT), Hermann Brain Dominance Inventory (HBDI), Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Situational Leadership, DiSC, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Advanced Facilitation, Instructional Design, Agile, ScrumMaster and Change Management.
