Beth Cougler Blom is a facilitator and learning designer who specializes in designing courses both in person and online, teaching facilitator/faculty development workshops and working with groups as a process facilitator. She is keenly interested in design and process work, both around the field of innovation and related to facilitation skills and strategies.
Experience
Cougler Blom draws upon more than 20 years of experience in the education and non-profit sectors to work with various types of clients through her own company, Beth Cougler Blom Facilitation, and she has worked with RRU’s Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies as a learning designer on a casual basis since 2012. Cougler Blom has also held education-related positions at the University of British Columbia, Region of Waterloo Public Health, the Canadian Red Cross and Volunteer Victoria. She has also completed certificates in intercultural studies and volunteer management from UBC and Conestoga College respectively. She started and continues to run the 175+ member Victoria Facilitators Group.
