We understand what’s happening in the world, and as we face unprecedented change, we are committed to facilitating conversations. sharing knowledge, and exploring topics that will inspire insights and guide transformative actions.

Today, the world needs leaders who can inspire and implement sustainable change more than ever before.

On November 5th, we invite you to join Drs. Mickie Noble and Hilary Leighton for a webinar to talk about their published book chapter – Stepping Toward a Sense of Place: A Choreography of Natural and Social Science.

Based on live cases that highlight the experiences of the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science students at Royal Roads University as they take what they have learned in the lab and step out into the living lab of campus, creating an indisputable connection between the natural and social sciences and a greater sense of their own identities within that place. Now, in the time of Covid, when students are learning from home, this intersection between people and place provides a contextual relevance to the students’ sense of belonging no matter where their “place” may be.

Get a glimpse into what it is like to be a part of the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science program, and where this education can take you.
