Webinar - Careers in Environmental Science
Get to know our panelists:
Emily is a graduate of RRU's Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science program. Her environmental career journey has brought her a variety of experiences - from operating a forklift at an industrial organic waste management plant, to publishing illustrations for a Canadian environmental children's novel, to organizing environmental education programs for over 1500 participants annually. She currently resides on Galiano, a remote island of 1000 permanent residents, where she lives out her "nature-nerd" dreams working as an Education Coordinator at the Galiano Conservancy Association.
Born and raised on the island of Borneo, Eugene moved to Canada at the age of nine and has been based out of Vancouver Island for the last 12 years. He holds a B.Sc.Env. (2015) from RRU and a B.Comm. (2008), from the University of Alberta and uses his skills to navigate through water and wastewater policies concerning small communities. In his spare time, Eugene plays in a band that conjures up scenarios that go between a Tarantino script and a classic western cowboy setting.
