The Victoria Times Colonist has featured a public service announcement from Royal Roads University asking visitors to stay away from campus.

Here is an excerpt:

Royal Roads University has closed the Hatley Park gardens and its buildings to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a result, the Hatley Park grounds are closed to vehicle access by visitors. Visitor parking facilities and the Hatley Park gardens are also closed to the public.

The Royal Roads campus remains open only to essential staff and for essential functions.

Hatley Park trails and grounds are open to the public, but the university is not encouraging their use and says social distancing requirements must be respected.
