Human Security and Peacebuilding Prof. Ken Christie spoke with Ryan Price on CFAX about the catastrophic impact of Easter bombings in Sri Lanka.

Here is an excerpt:

‘Over 250 people killed, a real human catastrophe and exactly what the terrorists want, that is to have an impact on the country, to frighten people from going to Sri Lanka and to disrupt people’s normal daily activities.

‘Terrorism is about a spectacle. It is about creating a spectacular event and here they created the spectacular event on Easter Sunday by these mass bombings, this mass atrocity.’
