
Congratulations to Royal Roads' new graduates!
Royal Roads University conferred credentials on 729 graduates in the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the university’s 39th convocation June 14 at the Royal Theatre in Victoria.
Graduates from 41 countries earned degrees, certificates or diplomas, including four doctoral degrees. The first graduating class of the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and the first classes of the Graduate Certificate in Organizational Design and the Graduate Certificate in Change Management programs received credentials at this spring’s ceremonies.
The morning ceremony included conferral of the degree of Doctor of Laws on the Honourable Jacob (Jack) Austin, P.C., C.M., O.B.C., Q.C. and presentation of the Chancellor’s Community Recognition Award to the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria.
The afternoon ceremony included conferral of the degree of Doctor of Laws on Songhees Elder Elmer Seniemten George.
