Webinar - MA in Tourism Management - New Specialization in Social Entrepreneurship
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new MA in Tourism Management specialization options! Our new Specializations in Disaster & Emergency Management and Social Entrepreneurship will add an edge to your already unique MA in Tourism Management (MATM) degree - they are designed to encourage you to think more strategically, innovate, and lead change within the tourism industry. Together, we can create the future of tourism through research, recovery, and reskilling the industry.
Join the School of Tourism and Hospitality director, Dr. Eugene Thomlinson, and professor, Lee Sentes, on October 14th for a webinar on our new MATM specialization in Social Entrepreneurship. This specialization is created for changemakers and those who want to influence the way we conduct business in tourism. Social entrepreneurship is about re-envisioning how organizations situate themselves within communities, which is becoming increasingly important for the tourism industry. Creating and leading organizations, social entrepreneurs strive to advance social and environmental change through innovative business practices. Eugene and Lee will discuss how this specialization fits into the MATM and why having tourism professionals who are able to approach tourism through an entrepreneurial lens will help bring positive changes to the industry.
We encourage you to register even if you are unable to attend. Everyone who registers will receive a link to the webinar recording.
