Webinar - Intercultural Dialogues: Creating a Multicultural Learning Community Online
COVID-19 has changed how we communicate, interact and learn. The pandemic has challenged conventional thinking about online learning and the learning community, as well as highlighted the need for rethinking boundaries.
On October 14th, join professors, Dr. Juana Du, Dr. Zhenyi Li, and Dr. Deniz Unsal from the MA in Intercultural and International Communication Program within the School of Communication and Culture, for an engaging conversation on building a multicultural learning community online.
The panellists will share their experiences learned through engaging learners from a variety of cultural backgrounds by exploring these three questions:
How does online learning open new possibilities to engage in intercultural dialogues?
From a communication perspective, how does online learning create space for differences that encourages cultural awareness and reflectivity?
How can we transfer online learning experiences to online experiential learning as we navigate through these uncertain times?
Date: Wednesday, October 14th, 2020
Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (Pacific Time)
