With over 30 years of corporate experience with public, private, crown and international organizations, I bring a combination of finance, leadership, strategy and revenue generation skills to whatever I am working on. The first 15 years of my career were spent in traditional accounting/controller specialization. The last 15+ years have been in the operations side of a finance organization. I am a strong leader and communicator and am skilled (and enjoy) change management. I am often called upon to speak publicly and I am told that I am warm, engaging, motivating and funny. Coaching is my calling. I am a Certified Hudson Coach and I have a Masters in Education (Adult specialization). I have a Bachelor of Business Administration and a CPA/CMA designation. I have also been awarded a FCPA/FCMA. I love to give back to the world (I have been so blessed) through different boards and organizations that I am associated with, and I also love to spend time researching and writing in the areas of leadership, personal growth and development, and wisdom. Most recently I have attended two Global Villages builds, one in El Salvador and one in the Whitehorse, Yukon. I am a member of the CPA NB Board, having been previously active with the CMA NB Board. I also have a personal passion in the area of global growth and education for women and girls, a passion that has been fed through participation with the Canadian Federation of University Women and attending the Status of Women Conference at the United Nations in New York twice. I have been married to my husband Hollie for over 26 years, and we are blessed with two wonderful daughters (Rebecca and Emma) who are also involved in continuing education, pursuing their own Master's degrees. Our home is currently run by an elderly and domineering cat and an active and charming Britney spaniel. Our extended family is large and very connected and we are blessed to spend much of our "free" time with family as well as with friends who have been "adopted" into the clan.
