MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING between Niagara College and Royal Roads University.
This memorandum of understanding constitutes an agreement between Royal Roads University (RRU) and Niagara College. The participating units at the respective institutions are the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at RRU and Niagara College.
Objective of the Agreement
The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management will recognize Niagara College's Bachelor of Business Administration – Hospitality Operations Management degree as meeting the admission requirement of an applicable undergraduate degree into our MA in Tourism Management program. Graduates of Niagara College's Bachelor of Business Administration – Hospitality Operations Management program will still need to meet any remaining entrance requirements for the MA in Tourism Management (per the program admission requirements on the RRU website) and pursue the regular application process.
Term of the Agreement
This agreement shall be in place for a period of three years commencing March 1, 2014. At the end of this time, the agreement will be subject to review and renewal by RRU. If there are impediments to renewal, RRU will notify Niagara College of the impediments with the goal of negotiating a new agreement. Final approval of the agreement will remain with the President of RRU. Either party may terminate the agreement with reasonable notice.
Royal Roads University retains the right to limit the number of students admitted under this agreement.
