Robert Skene, chartered accountant, has been active in business, academia and the Victoria community since arriving there in 1979. Prior to his retirement in 2005, he was Senior Vice-President, business development, and Chief Financial Officer with WCG International, Prior to that he held CEO positions at the Vancouver Island Advanced Technology Centre and HTS Hi-Tech Systems. He has an honorary doctorate from Royal Roads University and has served as that institutions Chancellor and Acting President.
