Education Studies
Incorporating technology into education is necessary to address the rising tide of data and information we are surrounded by. This complex interaction of people and technology and its impact on society is becoming increasingly important in today's world, making the age-old challenge of creating knowledge and meaning more relevant than ever.
The Division of Education Studies at Royal Roads University has been founded to address these issues by building new graduate-level programs that address the need to weave technology into education.
Royal Roads' education programs are of interest to those wishing to advance in the following fields:
- K-12 education systems
- post-secondary institutions
- government departments
- the corporate sector
- not-for-profit agencies.
Professional development for teachers - Three Technology for Teachers courses are available to organizations as a professional development opportunity for groups of 10 people or more. Please contact us for more information regarding these stand-alone courses, which may ladder into the MA in Learning and Technology degree.
