Lorelei Higgins, MBA - Specialization in Leadership
J. Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada
Lorelei Higgins’ research, under the supervision of Dr. Chris Duff, will advance the knowledge of addictions/drug strategies and enable the development of evaluation metrics that provide meaningful measurements of medium and long term impacts of Calgary’s Community Addictions strategy (CCAS).
CCAS has the potential to create significant change in the way that individuals access services, the type and quality of treatment that is available, and societal views on addiction. It can also impact the form and frequency of collaborative efforts within the addictions sector through educating interest groups with regard to addictions and the enforcement of substance abuse.
