The Graduate Diploma in Conflict Analysis and Management program provides the theoretical foundation and intervention strategies in the field of conflict analysis and management. The program covers a range of conflict situations from the interpersonal to the international and is multi-disciplinary in nature.
Participants have the opportunity to focus their studies in a choice of concentrations.
Students who wish to continue their studies towards completion of the Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management may do so through the laddering process. Students may apply to transfer to the MA stream, during the diploma program or after. Space may be limited.
Who it’s for
Undergraduates, graduates or professionals who wish to advance their professional or work related interests in the field of conflict resolution. Typically, students bring previous academic and work experience to the program and enrich the program by building upon this background.
Outcomes
Graduates are well prepared to lead change as foreign-service and military officers, government managers, international NGO staff, HR managers, teachers and school administrators, peace officers, community development workers, youth advocates, as well as mediators and negotiators.
Upon satisfactory completion of the courses and related assignments, students will be granted a post-graduate diploma in Conflict Analysis and Management.
