The Graduate Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management provides Human Resource professionals with the strategic skills and tactical understanding to participate at the executive management table. These skills are essential to effectively manage a diverse workforce and organizations undergoing change.

In partnership with BC Human Resources Management Association (HRMA), successful graduates of the program are eligible for 100 points towards their recertification of the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) Designation.
Upon successful completion, graduates can apply for advanced standing in Royal Roads University’s MBA program. A portion of the MBA tuition fee is waived.
Who it’s for
Senior managers, managers and other individuals who are directly responsible for organizational HR activities.
Applicants who do not have the formal academic education to qualify for admission may be assessed on the basis of both their formal education and their informal learning, in accordance with the Flexible Admission Policy.
Outcomes
Graduates of this program learn how to advance professional development in organizations; how organizations can effectively develop and maintain adaptive systems; how to develop a coherent HRM model linked to an organization’s strategic objectives and management philosophy, how to build and sustain strategic HR practices over the long term; how to identify High Performance Organizations and differentiate their HR strategies from the norm; and how to plan and manage organizational change effectively.
