Bio (Thomi Glover)
Thomi Glover supervises capstone projects for the Master of Arts in Leadership program with a special interest in social sector application, health initiatives and research projects in Aboriginal contexts; to date Glover has supervised more than 25 capstone projects. Her capstone supervisions have included five Indigenous organizational challenges and numerous social sector groups. She has many years of experience working as a leader in, and leadership consultant for, the social sector organizations at the executive level. She is a certified management consultant and executive coach.
Glover has been a consultant to Providence Health and Fraser Health and a coach and facilitator for several community service organizations. She is also an ordained Anglican priest serving part-time in a Gulf Island parish in B.C. She holds master’s degrees in arts and divinity and has specific cross-cultural experience from a two-year executive level assignment in the Philippines. Glover was a faculty member in the original Master of Arts in Learning and Technology program.
Glover holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from McMaster University (1971) and a Master of Divinity from the Vancouver School of Theology (1990). She is a professional certified coach from the International Coach Federation (2004), a certified management consultant, executive level from the ICF Canadian chapter (2010) and a certified practitioner from the Consulting Resource Group (2010). In 2009 Glover received the Outstanding Teaching Award from the Royal Roads School of Business.
